Just fishing

I escaped for an hour and eventually found my way to the canal. I had tried to get some autumnal colours but wasn't at all happy with what I'd achieved, so I was delighted to find this peaceful scene. The chap sitting fishing from the deck of his narrow boat seemed completely oblivious of everything around him and totally absorbed by his fishing. I didn't have the heart to break his trance by asking if he'd caught anything.

I used an Olympus Zuiko 40/1.4 from my Pen F at f/8, for those interested. The NEX7 is the perfect body for this manual lens.
