A quiet day at home after the days spent trundling up and down the A1..

I stripped the chicken carcasses from yesterday's roast and made a large pot of stock to be turned into soup next week! There wasn't much meat left over from two large chickens.. just enough to feed me and Mrs madwill this evening.

Had a shortish walk (2.5 miles) with Finlay, he was full of beans and may need another short walk later.

Whilst filling the bird feeders I noticed this sapling growing in an old pot by the shed and thought it looked quite pretty. I placed a large black seed tray behind it and dug out my tripod as it was fairly gloomy so need a longish shutter speed.
