Early bird...

...about 3 feet from my front door, which was just as well as I was using my 90mm macro lens. 

The extras were taken a couple of hours later when I ventured out properly.  We had a decent carpet of snow for a bit, but it's thawing quite quickly now. I suspect that ice, rather than snow will be the chief road hazard round here tomorrow.
