Nuked Cow!

Youngest asked her father would he put her wee lavender seed cow in the micro wave for 5 mins to heat it up as you do with these warmer things. Donald duly places cow in micro W for the requested 5 mins and remains in the kitchen washing the dishes. Suddenly he smells burning and the micro W is still running, he stops it , opens the door and finds a smoldering cow! When he took it out it was all burnt and smoking like mad and the smell and fumes would have knocked you over. We had to take it out into the garden!
turns out the timer on our micro wave wasnt working so the poor cow had been inside it for almost 10 mins as Donald had forgotten all about it. Lesson learned, we need a new micro wave as obviously the timer is kaput on that one and if he hadnt been in the kitchen who knows what could have happened! Guardian angel at work atgain!
