Snow? WHAT snow??

For a few days now we've been hearing that the world has ground to a standstill on account of snow.
For 2-3 days now we've had almost cloudless skies in "The frozen North".

Min -1.2˚C
So far.
It's been sufficiently cool (PLUS I do NOT shop in Sunday) to keep me kettled up all day.
Comes the threat of sunset, I liked the look of the sky so shot off to Beacon edge.
Behold - a distant Blencathra, not a cloud and zero inches of snow.
