A different view.

I left the house this morning at about quarter past eight and the temperature, according to my car, was minus nine degrees centigrade. I nipped into Melrose to buy a sandwich for my lunch - a wee luxury I afford myself only at weekends, I just have a Pot Noodle during the week - and headed for the Abbey as usual to get a blip.

I decided to approach from a different angle and drove along Cloisters Road at the back of the building. As. I lifted my iPhone to get a shot I accidentally snapped a picture of the frost on the gate, but I actually prefer this shot to the boring ones I took after this.
