Getting Ready for Winter

There is an oak tree in the front yard that has produced an incredible amount of acorns this year. Squirrels have arrived and have been busy knocking the acorns to the ground and then come down to find a place to bury them.

One of the local news stations said this morning that in past years when oak trees produce a lot of acorns, a harsh winter usually follows. Lets hope they are wrong...
