Festival of Light

Nice lazy morning - well actually not that lazy as C and I were finishing his shapes project homework and I’m never sure who the homework tests more!!

We watched some Xmas TV after lunch and T headed off to play for the carol service. I decided to take the children to the festival of
light for a change and they loved it!

The lanterns were amazing and so inventive. There were lots of people all lined up in the procession and so many shaped lanterns to spot. Our favourites were the alligator, jellyfish and penguin ones! The children enjoyed their whizzy light up toys and the atmosphere was very festive indeed.

We headed home for a roast, and then wrapping once the two were asleep.
