My friends' 13 year old daughter is a trooper. She hates her hair. She feels like the short look makes her look like a boy, and insists on wearing a wig to hide it until it grows back out.

Last February, this young girl was diagnosed with cancer. After months of treatments and hospital visits, she is now in remission. So much to celebrate... But the loss of her hair took a toll on her self confidence. She is an amazing, intelligent compassion, and incredible girl. I hope one day she will feel that truth even without her hair... But for now, the wig helps her be brave and continue with her life as normal as possible.
