Last Farmer's Market...

for me that is! The market will run until the end of October, but I think it's time to quite. This week was good and there were good sales, mainly cos we shared the space with the Quilter's Art Show, and it's Celtic Colours festival week! The next 3 weeks will be much quieter i think!

It's been a good season, and i've really enjoyed the company of the other vendors and the customers, but knowing that i don't have to do the pack-unpack-repack-reunpack dance till next June is just fine with me!

We live about 15 minutes from the Gaelic College here, which is the scene of the nightly 'after hours' festival gigs! starts at 11pm and goes till around 3am.....apparently we're heading up there this evening! luckily i've had a nap, and i think i'll be up for some good tunes and a beer or two!!! We usually try and go at least once to the after hours gig, and we are usually not disappointed!

2.40 am....just home from an amazing evening of music from all over the place: Ireland, Scotland, P.E.I., Nova Scotia.....truly inspirational! my ears are still ringing!!!
