Bare Botty!

Up early this morning as I knew my sister was seeing my Dad and had sent a few messages to me.  One message made me gulp so I got up....My mums stone has been laid.  Both my sister and I were told that the stone would not be laid until January time so my sister had a bit of a surprise when she visited the church!!  All so very final.

I had a lovely 45 mins sitting outside in the quiet Whatsapp'ing with my sister and Karen (Life in Brighton).  Seeing the snow in the UK and Mums stone made me very homesick....I know I will be home soon and I have so many lovely things to look forward to between now and then but I just couldn't help missing home.

After a nice relaxed breakfast and a couple of hours on work (sadly we had to do some work), Chris and I went to Sunshine beach and walked to Alexandria Beach which is about 1.6miles and 214 stair steps.  We enjoyed a nice half hour on Alexandria beach and then quickly became aware that the beach is favoured by nudists! 

We got caught in a heavy downpour of rain on the way back… the word sopping came to mind!

 We have had heavy downpours all afternoon but it’s been nice enough to sit outside under cover.  Chris has done some work, I have too and now we are slow cooking pork ribs on the Weber.  Chris has two work calls this evening and has a meeting tomorrow, although not a stressful meeting as it’s a meeting on the golf course, yes, how cliché is that!  I am taking the opportunity to have a mini spa day!!  So far my week of doing nothing is going well
