MonoMonday: Action/Adventure

This week's theme hosted by si_b is an action/adventure movie. 

Well it just so happens that back in 1985 the film "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" was filmed in the Megalong Valley (or part of it was, not the desert scenes). 

We drive past almost every day on the way to the farm but I hadn't been down to Mermaid's Cave since about 1987 so today seemed a good excuse.

I'll be going again as had forgotten how spectacular it is. This mono image doesn't do it justice.

If you look very closely (in the middle and just left of centre) you can see perennial model Mr isbi attempting a Mel Gibson imitation. 
Not having seen the movie we weren't sure what was required so I just asked him to try to look tough.
