Ice on the Tweed
Minus 4degC when I rushed out of the house this morning - just a tad cold waiting for the bus which was 15 minutes late! I was glad of my down coat, and woolly hat and gloves, but most of the school children seemed very scantily clad.
After work, Annette kindly gave me a lift in to Berwick, so I had time to do a little shopping and to walk down to the quayside. These little boats won't be going far until the ice melts!
Home to a few household chores and, now we've had our evening meal, I shall unpack the new set of Christmas tree lights and see whether they're working...
