Extreme Weather
Better in LARGE.
A cold snap came through yesterday, and at our house the temperature plummeted down to less than 5 degrees C. It's supposed to be spring with day time temperatures in the mid twenties.
We had a massive hail storm late afternoon, and although the stones were small, there were an awful lot of them. And, amazingly, there was even some light snow recorded. In Adelaide! In October! We must be breaking some sort of record for the coldest Spring for many years.
It's bitterly cold again today, and very little activity outside. I did my usual scout round the garden during a brief moment of sunshine and saw these rain drops caught in the bronze fennel.
(Even as I write this the sky has darkened again, and it's raining hard - those who live to the east of South Australia - watch out, it's coming your way).
