Heavy Smatter

A touch more snow this morning than there was yesterday.  7-8 inches, just as predicted, and just as no-one believed.

Went 'ooo' for a while, then got the shovels out.  I mean we are very grateful for the council ploughing and gritting the hill we live on, but perhaps dumping it in our driveway isn't, like, ideal.

We've a guest travelling down from Durham today.  Ironically, weather's fine up there.  Still, he's arrived safely.  Challenge might be to get to Upton in the morning.
