Another Ande

Not sure what it's called, but will find out...

Lulled to sleep tonight by a band in one of the nearby church plazas, playing more or less indigenous music, amplified to the extent that the incredibly loud music from the zumba... salsa... (something) class next door (which goes for a couple of hours from 6.00 am and again from 6.00 pm) is very nearly drowned out, which is quite an acoustic accomplishment.
A loafing about kind of day today and after no worthwhile coffee for two days, found two sources of very good coffee within a block of where we're staying. That's how it goes.

UPDATE (Thursday): We're currently in Chugchilan and Quilotoa for about a week. Wi-fi is available, but doesn't work, so can't post photos for the time being, only comment, using the PC with its strngely entertaining keyboard, at the local internet cafe...
