Bigger than Ben Hur

So, did you know? A Graduation Ceremony for Primary School kids really is a Thing.
I have now sat through 3 of them, each with their own characteristics and charm.

This was the big night for Mr A, my youngest. This photo is deliberately chosen to not identitfy any particular kids that were in his year group.
There were laughs and a few moments of insights from kids who didn't default to their favourite highlight of school being sport, sport and more sport.
One kid said that he had hated school, had known what it was like to be bullied, but friends like Mr A and another had made him see that school could be a positive experience. It was so proud of that brave young man, (and my son too).

In a season of crazy work, it was good to stop, listen, laugh and get some more knitting done!
