Bonus and an early Christmas present

A busy morning but then a call which cancelled a commitment this afternoon gave me a little breathing space!
I’d started early and so could extend my lunch break to take Poet Girl to buy a new coat. She’s away at the weekend and so needed an early Christmas gift. We bought the first one she tried on and it’s entirely fitting.
I came home to complete the working day whilst she cooked us a lovely risotto- delicious it was too!
