Mutton Birds, Tasman Peninsula
Fabulous trip to the peninsula today, only blighted by the absence or Irkutsk (back in Canberra) and whales!
We took one of the wildlife cruises, and for me the highlight (besides the spectacular dolomite cliffs) was the mutton birds swarming in a feeding frenzy.
Plenty of cormorants and albatrosses as well, plus the obligatory fur seals.
