Yes, moving swiftly on (here's Tuesday if you missed it!) Wednesday was NaNo pub night and a chance to start getting overly excited about the concept of sleep deprivation, drink, caffeine and manic writing that will kick off in a few weeks time.

A regular item at the meetings is the quotes file, where any and all stuff deemed suitably hilarious is noted down. Mostly. Sometimes we're all too busy laughing. Andrew is a prime contributor to the file (he and Lottie) are reviewing some older ones here) so those blank pages will no doubt start to fill up again soon.

No very new faces appeared at tonight's meeting which was a shame, we did have Si and Dave but I've met them both before (he says through the beer hazed memory) and I'm not sure if they're joining in the writing part. In any case, we usually have few new NaNoers showing up the closer we get to November, plus some older ones coming out of the woodwork.

I can hear a herd of 50,000 words trampling all over November in the distance...
