Eight Hats For Jimmy's
It was minus six Celsius in our “frost hollow” garden this morning and although I had planned to go into town early I decided to wait until a little later. Once the sun came out, although it was still minus two, I drove into town. I queued in the Post Office for about half-an-hour to posted some items and then purchased a few bits and pieces. The main reason for going was to collect our prescriptions, so we now sorted with our medicines until after Christmas. The large car park in town was covered in hard snow with lots of patches of ice, making it very dangerous for pedestrians as well as car drivers.
Today’s picture is of the eight hats I have knitted for the homeless in Cambridge. I need to pack them and post them to Jimmy’s Homeless Centre in Cambridge I hope to do that tomorrow.
Cold all day with some sunshine, but not a lot of thawing has occurred.
