Experimenting ...

.... with my new egg poachers .... initial evaluation is that poached eggs are more "together" (e.g. no white tendrils which you get when you go free-form"; pot is easier to clean and poachers require less cleaning than pot did before; it takes longer (as the heat has to pass through the silicone) - although I didn't put a lid on it this time.

It was fun watching the eggs coalesce - although I think Velasquez captures it better. I am now reading the book mentioned by RB13  and most interesting it is too. I shall say no more as book group members are blippers as feel honoured bound to discuss with them first.
