Long-tailed Tit

Woke to a very cold but bright day with no wind.  Took me an age to clear the windscreen this morning to go for a blood test, bit annoying as didn't use the car the rest of the day!
Had the girls round for coffee and mulled wine this morning, much laughter, chat, exchanging of presents and cards. I'm so lucky to have great friends.
After they left and I'd tidied up I went for a walk over the brickfield lakes, surprise, surprise I was the only one there:)  It was beautiful and I managed to get two photos of long-tailed tits.  The extra shows the ducks in the part of the lake which wasn't frozen. Second extra frozen leaves.  Took a lot of photos today so difficult choosing
