Frosty morning

It was a very frosty morning and I was unable to open the car door as it was frozen. I drove half way to work and walked the rest of the way. It was very, very cold but nice and fresh. Much better than yesterday's rain. I was back home by 4pm. Penny went to Kingston with Lily after school to do some Christmas shopping. I had taken what I thought was chilli con carne out of the freezer this morning for Ben and I to have for dinner. We served it with rice, extra chillies and sour cream. It turned out to be bolognese sauce. It has started to rain tonight and I suspect that tomorrow will be a wet day. 
Ben called the electrician (who is meant to come back on the 17th to complete the electrical work) for advice on something. He then told Ben that he is now unable to come until after Christmas.
