Portobello Beach - Edinburgh, Scotland - Day 43

The beach before the rain arrives from the west later today. Cockenzie Power Station's twin chimneys make a ghostly appearance to the left. A dog walker is caught crossing one of the groynes.

A further reminder of the imminent change in the season is provided, out of shot, by a long procession of Portobello Primary School pupils and teachers making their way to their Harvest Service at a local seaside church.
