Sun tinted clouds

What a pleasure to be back with Milly on the beach again. This morning there was a fairly low cloud cover but the clouds had form and substance instead of a uniform blanket grey. Suddenly the light changed. The inner firth was calm. The late rising sun showed red along the horizon but it somehow managed to tinge the dark grey in a very subtle way and then the sea surface picked up the changing light in the sky to give bands of light on the water. I tried to capture the surreal quality but two minutes and it was gone.
