Like a painting

The sunrise this morning. It kindly rained on the ice frozen ground so conditions outside were treacherous. I grabbed a hiking stick with pointy end to help dig in and keep me upright. While walking the dogs I could see that the timber lorries were struggling on the road at the end of our track. As in crawling with someone walking. Later in the feeding I saw the gritter reversing and gritting it so it must have just been sheet ice on the road. Husband had to wait until later to go again to the other farm but thankfully it was all gritted and fine other than our track.
