An Adventure In The Making

It's crazy to think that Andrew and I left home nearly two months ago for an adventure that's been a few years in the making. Over 3 years ago we took our first trip together through Oregon, Washington, and California; and ever since we've had the itch to get out of the midwest and discover more places and people. After our first road trip in the PNW, we've taking several more trips together including a few more long road trips in the west and southwest. I always try to plan our adventures to make the most out of our time, which usually involves covering a lot of ground and staying in most places for only a day or two. This can be super exhausting but we always end up seeing some incredible places and having an amazing time; so much so that on a stop at a Sedona, AZ winery (a few glasses in of course) I can remember deciding that I never wanted to stop having these new experiences and luckily Andrew and I are in the perfect profession to make this happen. After that trip in fall 2016, we made it our goal to start travel nursing by the next fall. Fast forward to December 2018 and Andrew and I are a long way from home, watching King Kong in our Seattle apartment, and trying to stay up late so we can make through our next night shift.
