More snow coming ...

Despite the noticeable thaw, there were still treacherous patches of ice on our path this afternoon - and when the light gets as poor as it did before we'd finished, this is quite scary - and there were what I can only describe as solids in the rain that fell a couple of times. The hills had some new snow on them, much of the last fall having vanished in the sun, and the next shower was on its way down Glen Massan as we looked.

I'm hating the curtailed daylight more than ever this year. I want to hibernate, do nothing - and yet if I were to give in, I'd be like a bear with a headache.
