Today was a repeat of Monday and Tuesday - at least until 5pm.
It wasn't supposed to be like that but it's how it turned out. Our 2 colleagues who work in Edinburgh were supposed to come to our office for some socialising (one of them is an intern from the USA and is returning home on Sunday) but it fell through.
So instead of some delicious Lebanese food for dinner it was grilled cheese on toast with a smoothie.
I was a bit subdued anyway. On Facebook this morning I learned of the death of a former teammate from my rugby playing days. Wallace "Frosty" Trotman.
Frosty liked to smoke a bit of dope in the minivan going to away games. In fact he was a bit of a chain smoker. On one 3 hour journey to a game we were all a bit... smiley... by the time we arrived. Passive smoking.
My 17 year old colleague handed out festive cards today, with an apology. She told us her mother insisted on it, in spite of her objections. Like me, she can't see the point in giving a card to the person you sit beside for 7 hours every working day.
Anyway, I Blipped it in honour of Chloe's attitude.
