New Toy

I saw this clock on Amazon.com when I was looking for a clock to put up in the living room and had to have it. It is made of wood and is battery powered. There are actually five little motors, four power the gears that turn and one powers the time movement. I love the Steampunk look of the thing. It arrived yesterday from Moscow where it was made. That is Russia, not Idaho. And the box was filled with Russian newspapers as padding. Pretty cool.

Today I painted. After lunch I ran out of steam and left early. When I got home I settled on the recliner couch and slept for two hours. I'm still recovering from my cold. I do feel better each day so there is light at the end of the tunnel.
