It's Fall

When Sally the Scarecrow moves from the garden to the front of the house... you know it's officially Fall.

I had BJ cut back all of the flowers - yes, with the weedwacker - and I promptly placed the hay, pumpkins and Sally in place. It's almost a bitter-sweet tradition. It's an end to the warmth and outside fun of the summer, and a beginning to the holiday season ahead.

Per the farmer's almanac, it's forecasted to be a cold & snowy winter.... augh! For now - I'll appreciate every day above 34*.
