Chives

After feeling very derelict yesterday, today has been so much better, thank goodness. After lying low for the last week, needed to head to town this morning for a rather long list of bits and bobs, and The Lad needed a change of scenery!! Ticked off most things on my list including supplies for some xmas baking.
For some years now, I haven't made a xmas cake, preferring the nutty, fruity panforte, as does the family. Spent this afternoon making a large one for ourselves and then four smaller ones (extra) for gifts.
Popped out into the vege garden before dinner to plant another punnet of lettuce and some parsley that I bought today. A very quick blip of the twisted bud of the chive flower.
