Cats

Apparently Kuching means cat, and there are numerous statues of the feline around town, of which this is the best IMHO.
When it rains both cats and dogs come to mind. A clue to the intensity of the storms is that shopping centres and hotels issue plastic bags for soaking umbrellas at their entrances.
Fortunately, the rain has not interfered with our planned activities.
