Trolleyus Supermarketicus Morrisoniensis*
Following my visit to the icy wastes of Killingworth Lake on Sunday (see Sunday's blip) I walked past again today on my way to the Leisure Centre for my weekly swim.
I was amazed to find that a new form of aquatic life had evolved over the last 4 days. There were already 4 of these creatures on the Lake, but one of them (see extra) already seemed to have keeled over and looked pretty moribund (see the extra). And I'm not sure that the species will prove to be very well adapted to aquatic life once the ice melts - which it's starting to do...
