Medals

Peter and I walked to Hare Hill Park to visit a superlative. Hare Hill House is the birthplace of Sybil "Queenie" Fenton Newall who won an archery gold medal in 1908 at the age of 53 years and 275 days, then and still the oldest gold medal winner in Olympic history.

Thence, we went to the Red Lion, where a very good beer is only £1.80 per pint. We were persuaded to take part in a Christmas quiz, in which we claimed an impressive bronze medal.
