Accompanied MrM to that bar in Berwick, where he was practising playing with the jazz band. Spent a very merry evening in the company of the ladies who follow the band...
Rather like these lamps in the window, decorated for Christmas.

The most beautiful clear, starry night as we drove home, so we were hopeful of seeing some evidence of the Geminid meteor shower. We each spotted one meteor flash across the sky, but nothing more. And when we got back it was too late - and far too cold - to contemplate sitting outside for a while!
