Royal Oak

Work seems to consist of a series of meetings these days, all of which generate lots of work, that I don't have any time to do on account of all the meetings, generating work.....

Still, this evening we had dinner out with H&D, at a pub in Poynings. It was lovely to see them and the food was good on the whole. I had Moules frites...but this turned out to be just so so and the worst of our choices. Everyone else's food was better, and the risotto was very tasty.

S stayed home nursing a sore throat. She had trouble with a bowl of ice cream...that's how you know it's genuinely hurting! Fingers crossed she'll be feeling better in the morning.
