A bit of this, and some of those.....

Up early this morning to add my bit to the Christmas cards that D had wonderfully made inroads into while I was at the choir concert last evening. We have a family weekend ahead and there is a list of "to do" before then. 

We spent a happy few hours in Surrey at the home of friends GadgetKid and G. There were a few things to do in preparation for their stay over the next weeks. I think they will find the weather VERY different from home. A neighbour had been asked to put the heating on over this last cold spell, so the lodge has had a good warm up, ready for their arrival soon. 

This evening I went to a table decoration workshop and am actually quite pleased with my piece! D went for a man meal and has had a good evening too. He did his first bit of driving today. He was told not to for two weeks after his operation. This evening we both needed cars so my car was treated to a run after several weeks of "resting." It was good to be back in that driving seat again...
