Auckland city, from the back of a ferry.

Dave, Ella and I flew up to Auckland today.

Staying on Waiheke Island where one of my brothers lives. Tomorrow my Dad , my younger brother and his two kids will come over too, and we are having an early Xmas catch up.
It is just so nice on the island, I feel myself relax as soon as I get on the ferry.

I'm sitting here on the veranda watching dusk fall. There are boats moored up for the night in the bay with their lights twinkling. Very peaceful.
