Dilemma

The Germans are amusing me at the moment...
Sundays are sacrosanct, thou shall not shop, make noise, have fun etc. etc. Sundays are for church.
Christmas falls on a Monday, the shops will be shut. Boxing day is also a holiday here, shops will be shut.
On Christmas Eve the shops are normally open until lunchtime but this year it’s a Sunday.
No access to food for three whole days...
Various supermarkets are talking about opening on Sunday, which is obviously causing consternation - they want it, but they don’t want to want it.
What will happen in any event, is panic buying on Saturday, running out of bread is just not tolerated.
