Jack’s back...

A frosty morning in Edinburgh. A pile of pancakes and podcasts for breakfast, then the SBG made some Christmas cards and snowflake decorations.

Out to defrost the car, and then over to the Botanics for a wander. I know it was chilly, but it was a sunny day, and the Botanics were practically empty. Shame, as it was beautiful in the frosty light.

Back home for lunch, and then Iain and a couple of the kids watched Jingle All the Way....I opted to stay in the kitchen and prep dinner.

Once Iain took the SBG home, I had a soak in the bath and then we had winter vegetable stew with dumplings.
