Today's the day .......................... to get a card

Sometimes you get a Christmas card that just ticks all the boxes.

This one arrived today - and we were so pleased to receive it.  It's from Will's cousin, Betty, that we had almost lost touch with because she had moved up to Glasgow, closer to family.  She's not had a very good year but she's on the mend now - and this card was to let us know.

Add to that the fact that it's a gorgeous card with a glittery thistle - that looks as if it started life as a watercolour - painted by Tim Mason.  And it is raising money for Shelter, a very worthwhile charity that does good work.

It's a win/win situation ...........................
