In memory

As it would have been my mother’s 95th birthday today I took some flowers to the churchyard to remember many happy birthdays with her. Sometimes she would invite us to go to her house for birthday tea, providing delicate small cakes - and home made scones - rather than a large cake.
My brother phoned me too and it was good to share some memories and thoughts together.
