Luscious, deliciousness.............

...........of a fresh pomegranate which I will be using tonight to "Christmas up" a salad.  (sounding like Nigella!)

Tonight is the neighbourhood Xmas party. Not the street we are in now, but the street we first lived in when we were married, 47 years ago. There were five families then and we have all stayed close friends ever since. Tonight will be  little subdued I feel as the parents of the young man who passed away very recently will be there. It's only been 3 weeks or so :(

However, this is what old friends are all about. Support, love and friendship without the need for thanks or reciprocation. 
It's not the first bad thing that has happened amongst us and probably won't be the last. Carpe diem!!!!!
