Going up?

If you going to take a photo of an escalator, you need to create a sense of mystery, don't you? You need to get people wondering just what's up there, waiting within that searing saffron glow....think the closing scene in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, when Richard Dreyfus ascends into the alien mothership. We don't get to see what's in the ship, just an alluring gleam, but we can imagine.
In other news, I spent a surprising amount of today writing about the European Convention on Human Rights and in the process learned that the courthouse in Strasbourg looks like something that has just landed....
