12 Years Ago...

... I married my best friend.

In this building 12 years ago today, BJ and I were married in front of our family and friends. It was a year a lot like this one - a cold, rainy, sometimes snowy first week of October. Our near 200 guests would need to snuggle with their neighbor for warmth as this old building does not have a heating system.

It was the best day of our lives... both BJ and I have talked in length about how our wedding day was the best party we've ever attended. Surrounded by our families and close friends - we felt comfortable and relaxed. We have yet to attend a wedding that was as enjoyable as our own.

12 years later, we are still happily wed. Our friendship has provided us many laughs, lots of adventures and a comfortable lifestyle. Our children are our most cherished achievement, they are the joy in our lives - keeping us laughing, singing and whistling. Together, we have become B.A.C.K. Woods Farm and the kids have enjoyed the days spent haying and harvesting.

My life is good...
