Cheesy!

I was trying to get ahead of the game this morning by doing my weekly food shop early. The weather had other ideas. A night of heavy rain then snow and then freezing temperatures meant the roads were in quite a treacherous state this morning. Once I managed to get to the supermarket I could barely walk across the car park. It was an ice rink. The other issue was leaving, as it's a steep hill back up to the main road. I made the decision to leave my car there, walk home, and return later when it had thawed a little!

I met up with a friend from work and we headed off to the Trentham Estate shops for the day. We also had a lovely relaxed lunch too.These singing reindeer at the Trentham garden centre just cracked me up. 

I retrieved my car on the way back, and did my food shopping this evening.
