Bramall Park

It was raining this morning and only two of us turned up to plant bulbs in Bramall Park - and the two who did turn up were both out late last night at the Rotary Christmas Meal!

I am not sure why there are stocks outside the Hall - they can't be original in the location they are - but perhaps we now have a use for them - as punishment for our fair-weather volunteer gardeners ;-)

I was collecting for some local charities at the garden centre this afternoon, which was rather nice - one week to Christmas and people do seem to be getting into the spirit of Christmas.  I don't know how much we raised yet, but the collecting boxes all seemed quite heavy today.
