Winter at Gibside Estate

Meandering back along the mile long avenue. It was cold and crisp with a lovely wintery pink and mauve sunset. The red kites also seem to rule the skies around here, just gliding around and seeking carrion. We walked 17K steps before taking tea in the café.  It is always nice to see a lot of families out walking and enjoying the playgrounds and woods.
